Astute’s Power Team is partnered with a global company, to recruit for an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Performance Manager to oversee current Energy from Waste Power Stations within their fleet as well as potential new ones on the horizon.
The vital O&M Performance Manager role comes with a salary of up to c.�90,000 + car allowance + bonus + private medical +other benefits. This is a hybrid role which will involve travel across the UK.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the O&M Director, you will be responsible for:
* Advising and supporting the O&M site teams in place on established operational facilities as well as helping with the mobilisation phase on new build sites
* Identifying areas to drive plant performance and reliability in cooperation with all stakeholders involved
* Support the site O&M teams with continuous improvement of output and availability which includes plant performance, strategic maintenance, OPEX improvements, etc
* Develop relations with the O&M sites which included regular site visits as well as participating/chairing relevant meetings
* Ensure any performance issues during the warranty period are communicated effectively
* Support and assist with the development/general maintenance of the sites’ tools and systems to support the continuous improvement of plants (CMMS systems, remote monitoring of plant performance, data analytics, outage planning, etc)
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally a Degree in a relevant Engineering subject – those with HND/HNCs will also be considered
* A formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH will be advantageous but not a necessity
* A full UK driving licence is a necessity given the nature of the role with travel
Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge
The O&M Performance Manager would suit someone who has:
* Prior Senior Management experience within the O&M Team of a Power Station (ideally EfW) – those with significant Operations/Engineering Management will also be considered
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Good financial and commercial acumen
* Excellent stakeholder management experience
