We are now seeking an Change Administrator to join our team at Merville Barracks, Colchester.  You will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of change management initiatives across a multi-service site. The role ensures change activities are conducted efficiently, minimize disruption, and align with the site's operational and strategic objectives. Acting as a central point of contact, you ensure that stakeholders are informed, processes are followed, and outcomes are monitored.

 What you’ll do:


Develop innovative solutions within the PFI’s commercial and contractual boundaries, ensuring a profitable, future-proof Contract Change Notice (CCN) that maintains high service quality and complies with current and future legislation.
Consider future profit/risk and the impact on associated services when removing/reducing services and producing any CCN.
Manage the PFI’s formal CCN process, coordinating with key parties (Contract Director, Finance Manager, legal counsel, banking, RMPA, and DIO) and ensuring documentation is securely stored and distributed according to policy


Change Request Management:


Act as the central coordinator for all change requests.
Review, track, and document requests, ensuring appropriate prioritization and approvals.


Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:


Develop and implement communication plans for change initiatives.
Liaise with key stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment.
Attend client meetings as required.


Process Oversight and Compliance:


Monitor adherence to established change management processes and protocols.
Ensure all changes comply with site-specific policies, industry standards, and regulations.
Maintain comprehensive understanding of the contract and all statutory/legislative requirements that relate to the services provider within the contract.


Implementation Support:


Coordinate the rollout of change initiatives to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Facilitate training, briefing sessions, and resource distribution as required.


Monitoring and Reporting:


Track the progress and impact of change initiatives using performance metrics.
Prepare detailed reports and summaries for senior management, highlighting key outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.


Risk and Issue Management:


Identify potential risks associated with changes and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues that arise during the change process to ensure successful implementation.


What you bring:


Proven experience in change management, administration, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.
Knowledge of change management principles and best practices, such as ITIL, Prosci, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with multi-service operational environments (e.g., facilities management, logistics, IT, or public services).


Desirable


Certification in change management (e.g., Change Management Practitioner) or project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
Experience in operational environments such as healthcare, education, military, or large facilities.
