We are now seeking an Hard FM Team Leader, Engineer to join our team at Sevington Inland Border Facility, Ashford. It will be your responsibility to supervise engineering technicians and oversee maintenance activities at a client site. 

 What you’ll do:


Conduct and manage planned maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operations, enabling the Client to continue their core business activities seamlessly
Ensure compliance with UK&I health and safety legislation
Promptly troubleshoot and repair breakdowns and faults to minimise disruptions to the Client's core business operations.
Act as a key member of the Hard FM team, supervising the safe operation and repair of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services and fabric equipment at client locations within the scope of work.
Review and ensure the safety of risk assessments for maintenance tasks
Provide engineering expertise by responding to emergency call-outs and attending site during out-of-hours situations.
Be prepared for unsociable hours as required by business needs
Demonstrate flexibility regarding work schedule and location


What you bring:


At least 5 years of practical experience in building services and plant engineering, supported by formal qualifications
Strong practical engineering skills, including a working knowledge of engineering compliance and best practices
Proven experience in supervising technical maintenance environments
IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
