What is the job role?We were graded ‘Good’ in our most recent OFSTED inspection.
We already have a large number of committed staff, who share the school vision:
“Passionate about celebrating learning, enjoyment and achievement for all”
The Headteacher and Governors recognise the immense and valuable role played by all staff at the school.
Who are we looking for?Due to the retirement and relocation of two of our experienced class teachers, we are seeking dedicated and resilient teachers to join our happy and thriving school community.
We’re looking for passionate practitioners with SEND experience, or those with a genuine desire to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. Our students have severe and complex disabilities, including ASD, sensory processing difficulties, and associated challenging behaviours.
The majority of our pupils face complex social interaction and communication challenges. Teaching and learning focus on small groups with routines tailored to each child, incorporating signs, symbols, visuals, sensory diets, movement breaks, and personalised behaviour support strategies.
We are seeking creative teachers who can:
- Reflect innovatively on pupils’ learning.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic class team.
- Bring a positive, solution-focused mindset to the role.
What we offer:
- A “kind, safe, happy” school environment.
- Hardworking and supportive colleagues who value collaboration.
- Enthusiastic and dynamic pupils who inspire.
- A warm and welcoming school community that values its teachers.
We highly encourage a visit to our school to better understand the diverse needs of our pupils and the unique opportunities we offer.
If you have the resilience, creativity, and passion to support our pupils’ journey, we’d love to hear from you!
