An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accountancy Practice Manager with 5 - 10 years' experience to join a thriving and forward-thinking accountancy firm. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 with OTE up to £55,000.
As a Accountancy Practice Manager, you will be managing staff, engaging directly with clients, and overseeing a variety of tax, accounting, and advisory responsibilities.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and supervising a team of bookkeepers and accounting technicians.
- Reviewing colleagues' work, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Handle daily interactions with clients and HMRC, ensuring effective communication.
- Ensuring compliance with Payroll, VAT, and other regular financial submissions.
- Providing tax advice, planning, and preparing annual tax returns.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Practice Manager, Client Manager, Accounts Manager, Audit & Accounts Manager, Accounts Senior, Accounts Supervisor, Senior Client Accountant, Senior Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
- Possess 5 - 10 years' accountancy practice experience.
- Understanding of tax and accounts preparation.
- Qualified / part-qualified ICAEW, ACCA, or ICAI or qualified by experience.
- Hold a bachelor's degree.
- Excellent client interaction and communication abilities.
