Ganymede Solutions are working with the largest UK Train Operating Company (currently posting revenues of over �8.9Billion the last seven years), who are seeking to recruit a Train Cleaner to join the Train Presentation team based in their Littlehampton depot.
The company covers the Southeast, Greater London & East Anglia areas - this includes Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, London & Hertfordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains - 516 to be precise, so it's safe to say you will be active & busy within your role!
Ganymede are looking to hire someone with a 'go getter' attitude who isn't afraid to get stuck in and can lead a team by example.
The Role:
The role itself will consist of all aspects of train cleaner duties. This can include exterior cleaning, interior cleaning, hoovering the floors, inspecting/maintaining toilets, etc.
Hours wise, it is a 35-hour week role across a Sunday - Saturday roster, working hours of 21:30pm - 04:30am
You will be looking after the Southern train fleet which serves the Surrey & Sussex areas. Your role is mainly interior cleaning focused, but here and there you will have to do some basic exterior work also. There is one cleaner per 3 or 4 carriages, meaning you will be working in a team of 4 at most times.
Remuneration & Benefits:
This rail company has on offer the following for contract staff:
- �14.52p/h rate - this will rise to �14.92 after your first 12 weeks
- Overtime is available at the Manager's discretion

Requirements:
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
- Happy to help mentality/attitude
- A decent fitness is needed as the role will involve a decent bit of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying
- Flexibility to work weekends
