Purfleet Care Centre are looking for a friendly, kind receptionist/administrator who enjoys a patient facing role on a busy reception. You will be working with a great team of full time and part time receptionist/administrators and a welcoming wider team. There are opportunities for training and development.

About Purfleet Care Centre:

Purfleet Care Centre is run by HCRG Care Group on behalf of Southwest Essex Community Services. We provide patients with access to high quality healthcare in Purfleet. We are open to new patients wishing to register with us.

We are committed to providing our patients with a full general practice service and access to a range of health professionals. We offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries.

The Centre is in addition to and complements other GP surgeries in the area and does not replace their services.

Main Responsibilities
Welcome patients both face to face and on the phone. 
Gain an understanding of where and how to signpost patients to the most appropriate person in the surgery that can help them. 
Contribute to the smooth running of the administrative process by undertaking admin roles, calling patients to encourage them to book for poor health prevention appointments, covering the reception from 08:00 - 20:00 on a rota basis. 
Meeting the telephone answering targets so our patients aren't kept waiting on the phone. 

The Ideal CandidateYou will preferably have proven experience in a reception and administration role, have outstanding customer service skills and have the ability to demonstrate professional behaviours at all times.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of  packages including email, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
