Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager – Events and drive growth by securing new business opportunities within the conference and events sector!As the Business Development Manager for Events, you will play a critical role in expanding our portfolio of clients and partnerships, maximising revenue streams for corporate and special events. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships, and work collaboratively with our events team to create tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.Identify and generate new business leads within the events sector, including corporate, hospitality, and special eventsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholdersDevelop customised proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clientsMeet and exceed revenue targets through proactive sales efforts and client managementStay up to date with industry trends and competitors to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edgeRepresent Levy at industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsAbout you:Proven experience in a regional or national sales role within the C&E industryKnowledge of the events industry and bookers within the North of England – particularly Sheffield and Burnley (Preferred)Enthusiastic, motivational, someone who strives for excellenceSomeone who takes the initiative and drives for resultsOrganised, able to make robust judgments and prioritiseHonest, transparent and consistentHave a flexible approach with a “can do” attitudeStrong commercial experienceExcellent presentation, communication and relationship building skillsBe passionate about food, beverage and serviceAt Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
