An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprising Physiotherapists , OT’s, Nurses and Health Care Trainers.The successful candidate will be an independent non-medical prescriber with previous pain management experience and will work within the Community Pain Management service to provide a person-centred approach to managing persistent pain.You will work autonomously within the service, managing a caseload of patients delivering individualised patient care. Your caseload will consist of patients with persistent pain and you will work with them to improve their quality of life by optimising their medication. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.The Service works closely with the Tier 3 pain management team and the Community MSK Service. You will participate in the delivery of group pain management sessions to provide education and advice on medication related issues. You will also provide pain related medicines management advice and support to the clinicians in the pain team and the MSK team.Are you passionate about pain management?
