As a member of the Family Hub team, this role will play a key part in implementing the Family Hub program across West Northamptonshire. The focus is on uniting services and partners to ensure children, young people, and families receive timely and appropriate support.

The role involves supporting children, young people (ages 0–19, or up to 25 for those with SEND), and their families by delivering a comprehensive range of early help services and support programs. This aims to enhance outcomes for children while reducing the demand for statutory services. The work will align with the integrated Family Hub model, providing services across Local Area Partnership areas.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate.

What will you be doing?Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children, young people, and families?

We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality, effective early help services as part of our integrated Family Hub program.

In this role, you will work closely with the Family Hub Lead and Senior Family Hub Practitioner to support the smooth operation of the Family Hub and its connected neighborhood spokes. Your work will ensure the delivery of impactful services through physical, virtual, and outreach programs. You will lead interventions that provide direct support to children, young people, and families, planning and delivering group-based activities as well as one-to-one support.

Collaboration is central to the role. You will work alongside partners and colleagues to deliver meaningful group sessions and provide practical assistance to those who need it. Engaging families in the community through innovative outreach methods, you will encourage participation in a range of programs and services designed to meet their needs.

Through building strong relationships with children, young people, and families, you will help them realise their potential and develop targeted activities that respond to individual and local requirements.
