About the Role
As an Electrician, you will install and maintain electrical systems and components in industrial settings, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment and machinery. Use testing devices and tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
* Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repair of electrical systems.
* Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant safety codes, regulations, and standards. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to electrical work.
* Follow and promote safety protocols to create a safe working environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards related to electrical systems.
* Work closely with other personnel, engineers, and production teams to coordinate electrical work and support overall operations.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide documentation for compliance and reference purposes.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Level 3 Electrical qualification / completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical industry.
* Proven experience as an electrician in Industrial settings.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
