Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aseptic Pharmacist to join our clients Pharmacy team at an NHS Hospital in Birmingham. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Position Details:
* Location: NHS Hospital, Birmingham
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 30-minute break)
* Duration: Ongoing, with a January start
* Pay Rate: �27 - �37 per hour (Band 7/8a)
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and dispensing of aseptic products
* Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and aseptic procedures
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
* Provide expert advice and support on aseptic techniques and related issues
* Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
* Undertake quality assurance activities to ensure patient safety
Requirements:
* Aseptic experience is essential
* Experience in NHS pharmacy services is preferred
* Must be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and related pharmacy regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Committed to patient care and safety
