Food Safety Manager

We are partnering with a leading Facilities Management organisation to recruit a Food Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to providing strategic leadership to a team of Food Safety Consultants while serving as the deputy to the Head of Food Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support, coach and mentor the Operating Unit SLT(s) and provide competent Food Safety advice
* Analyse and collate audit outcomes, identifying areas for improvement
* Lead particularly complex incident investigations on direction from the Head of Food Safety
* Line Manage the performance and development of the Food Safety Consultants and Technical Food Safety Consultant.
* Work closely and flexibly with the Head of Food Safety, Food Safety Consultants and HSE Managers to facilitate success
About You:
* Leading food safety improvements in a matrix organisation.
* Food Safety Management experience at a Senior level.
* Experienced leader with demonstrable experience of leading a team through a period of change.
* Degree in Environmental Health, degree in food science/food technology, Level 4 Food Safety.
* Experience of auditing food businesses from low- risk to high- risk food manufacturers.
