Hourly Rate: �33 - �37 per hour (via Umbrella)
Start Date: December 2024
Contract Duration: 3-6 months
Full-time/Part-time: Full-time (5 days per week, Monday to Friday), Part-time may be considered. 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch)
Travel: Required to cover multiple sites across Surrey

Are you an experienced Mental Health Pharmacist looking for a new locum opportunity in the NHS?
We are currently recruiting for a Locum Mental Health Pharmacist to join a dynamic NHS Trust in Surrey . The position is available to start in December 2024 and will be for an initial duration of 3 to 6 months , with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medicines management support across multiple mental health wards.
* Review and manage the safe and effective use of medication for patients with mental health conditions.
* Work across 4 different sites across Surrey to support the project's objectives.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care.
* Contribute to the successful implementation and ongoing delivery of a Medicines Management Project.
Requirements:
* Mental health ward experience is essential.
* Previous experience in a NHS setting is highly desirable.
* You must be a qualified pharmacist with UK registration.
* Ability to travel to multiple sites across Surrey.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Band 8a level experience or equivalent is essential.
Additional Information:
* Full-time hours (5 days per week, Monday to Friday). However, part-time options may be considered.
* The role is offered as an umbrella contract with an hourly rate of �33 - �37 per hour, dependent on experience.
