We’re the learning and development team for HCRG Care Group, delivering top-notch training to clients across the country. From life-saving skills to hands-on practical techniques, we’re all about empowering people to be their best.

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic Clinical Trainer to cover the North West. You’ll be leading face-to-face courses in Patient Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support (BLS), plus running virtual classroom sessions on a variety of topics.

Deliver hands-on, face-to-face training that engages and inspires learners while also leading interactive virtual classes that bring learning to life online. You'll create a positive, fun, and supportive environment where participants feel empowered to grow their skills and confidence. This role involves traveling across the North West for in-person sessions, with the flexibility to connect with learners virtually when needed.

 No worries if you’re not a training guru yet—we’ll train you! But if you’ve got experience, especially in these areas, we’d love to see what you’ve got. This is a Band 6 role, but it’s also an excellent development opportunity for a Band 5 who’s ready to step up.

This role offers hybrid working from our regional offices, with the requirement of regular national and regional travel.

Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions and competency assessments for various audiences.
Ensure internal quality assurance of clinical and Quality and Safety learning interventions, and maintain up-to-date course information.
Develop and implement a modern, blended learning approach using digital tools and virtual assessments.
Tailor learning delivery to different environments and learning styles, providing necessary adjustments and support.
Conduct training needs analyses to identify and address learning demands.
Review and analyse the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary modifications.
Manage workload with strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.

The Ideal Candidate
Registerable qualification with current NMC/HCPC/GDC/Social Work/GMC registration.
Significant clinical practice experience in a relevant field (AHP, Nursing, Social Work).
Experienced in delivering training on various clinical health and care topics, and in creating high-quality blended learning solutions.
Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Willingness to work flexibly, including travel to regional and national locations as required, and a clean driver's license.
