About the Role
As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of a key client site's facilities team, supporting non-core engineering and operations. Your tasks include planning and coordinating daily maintenance repairs and scheduled services, as well as overseeing adi-appointed contractors for outsourced maintenance. This multi-skilled role requires a strong emphasis on electrical expertise.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing hands-on maintenance and operation of utility equipment and control systems, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
* Maintaining pipe systems and related equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and waste management.
* Collaborating with the team to enhance maintenance effectiveness and reviewing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
* Conducting root cause analysis to optimize plant and machinery efficiency and safety.
* Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
* Assisting in the planning and execution of routine maintenance and completing maintenance work requests (MWR) using the Client's CMMS.
* Being available for callouts in accordance with safety procedures.
* Communicating effectively with both the Client and your team.
* Contributing to minor project work and coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Extensive experience in a facilities maintenance technician position or related field.
* Proven experience in mechanical or electrical engineering and familiarity with HVAC systems is highly advantageous and will be considered desirable.
* Experience in the food and beverage industry would be advantageous.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
