We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team, helping to create nutritious and delicious meals that support peak performance and recovery.Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of professional athletesCollaborate on the creation of diverse and balanced menus, ensuring a variety of options that cater to different dietary requirements and preferencesSupervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene are maintainedAssist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and minimising wasteMaintain strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchenSupport the culinary team in catering for special events, including team meetings, staff functions, and guest visitsAbout you:Proven experience in a professional kitchenCulinary Arts degree or equivalent professional qualification preferredProficiency in various cooking techniques and stylesStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for athletes is a plusPassion for cooking and a commitment to culinary excellenceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as neededAt Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
