We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Representative at our offices in Wolverhampton; working in our Agg Block division. The site is easily accessible from Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Leek, Ashbourne, Derby, Burton Upon Trent, Lichfield, Cannock, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Worcester, Kidderminster, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Telford, Shifnal, Dudley, Halesowen, West Bromwich, Walsall and the surrounding areas.

Please note you must have a Full UK Driving Licence to be considered as plant and customer visits can be requested as part of the role.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs the successful Internal Sales Representative, you will be reporting directly to the Sales & Service Manager and be responsible for pricing incoming enquiries and following up to secure new orders. You will be maximising existing yard stockist relationships, ensuring consistent stock holding, alongside achieving KPIs in relation to the number of pro-active calls and other points of contact promoting the company’s product range.
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities for the Internal Sales Representative will include (not exhaustive):
Working alongside the Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a geographical sales area including new business development
Serving as the main point of contact for actioning incoming enquiries
Providing customers with pricing in an efficient and timely manner, in line with company pricing procedures
Proactively chasing pipeline of open quotations to obtain feedback
Converting enquiries into orders, maximising profitability within approved pricing levels, upselling and identifying value add opportunities
Making regular contact with yard stockists to ensure consistent supply
Responsible for filling ‘VAP’ vehicle availability for your designated plant
Keeping up to date with product ranges, developing in-depth knowledge of our Tarmac Blocks offerings, fully enhancing your contribution and ability to support customers
Ensuring customer records/systems are continually updated and accurate
Keeping all systems and processes compliant with the relevant company and statutory requirements and guidelines
