Job Title Acquisitions ManagerDepartment Business DevelopmentReports to Head of Acquisitions (HoA)Special Relationships Chief of Business Development (CBD)/Transaction Controller (TC)/Head of Labs and Integration Manager (HoLI)/RDP internal departments/Head of Region (HoA)/Business Development Managers (BDM)/Practice Owners/Dental BrokersRole Objectives:Collaborating with HOA, CBD, Transaction Controller, RDP internal teams, field-based teams and external stakeholders to manage to deliver successful completions of Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures to Rodericks Dental Partners (RDP).Key Responsibilities:Support lead generation, direct lead management and broker relationships to optimise RDP opportunityAccurate and timely completion of acquisition profit and loss and assessments for discussion with HoA/CBD prior to Merger and Acquisition Committee (MAC) presentationPractice visits to meet practice owners to assess the practice, build rapport and position positively the practice/s future with RDPUpdate the Merger, Acquisition and Joint Venture documents as required on the s: drive and feedback into updating the M and A pipeline/progression reportWork closely HoA and CBD, practice owners and all stakeholders to support deal progression relating to all parts of Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures processesWorking with TC support the management and co-ordination of due diligence activities, reports, enquiries and further enquiriesTo liaise and maintain good relationships with practice owner, practice teams, internal and external customers during the full processWorking with HoA/CBD/TC ensure all company protocols are followed and appropriate approvals sought when needed, are documented and circulatedAgree detailed commercial post completion delivery plan with practice owners and HoLIRole Competencies:Advanced communication, negotiation and rapport skillsStrong commercial and financial acumenNational travel and evening practice visits including some weekendsAble to work under pressure, independently to deadline and with accuracyA knowledgeable understanding of the business of dentistry and issues effecting the industryFlexibility to meet with the demands of a growing businessAbility to manage several workstreams with internal and external stakeholders to manageRole Information:Full time position – split office and home-workingInitially temporary may lead to permanent contractCompany expensesCar allowance25 days holiday per annumINDEM
