Job Description: SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Weil am Rhein or Freiburg, with flexible working options.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our SAP Services team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, maintenance, and optimization of our globally used SAP landscape, ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth operations in SAP ABAP, SAP JAVA, and SAP Cloud technology environments.
* Maintain SAP systems, including upgrades, updates, patching, and system configuration.
* Contribute to our SAP S/4 HANA migration project.
* Support numerous interfaces to various global units within the organization.
* Participate in various SAP projects.
* Perform problem analysis, resolution, and system optimization (3rd Level Support).
* Depending on your learning progress, participate in an on-call support team.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Computer Science (or similar) or an IT-related apprenticeship with several years of professional experience.
* Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis.
* Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and strong knowledge of business processes across SAP modules.
* Open communication style with good proficiency in German and English.
* Experience in project management with a consultative approach, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of LINUX and experience in IT audits would be advantageous.
