Astute’s Renewables team is partnered with growing anaerobic digestion business who design, build and operate assets. They’re looking to recruit an experienced Project Development Manager to be based at their head office near Peterborough.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Operations Director you will:
* Project developing new greenfield sites
* Negotiating leases and securing land for development
* Preparing budget estimates of capital costs
* Oversight of Local Authority Planning and EA permit applications and approvals
* Validating feedstock supplies and waste product offtake capacity
* Providing support for the Project Development team throughout the handover and construction phase
* Working on multiple projects at one time
* Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Qualified to APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualifications
* Full UK licence
Personal skills
The Project Development role would suit someone who is:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in front end development of multi-million-pound projects for the construction/ utilities/ process industry sectors
* Relevant experience and achievements in the renewable energy sector – Anaerobic Digestion/Biogas/Biomethane projects is an advantage
* Happy to commute to various locations around the UK
