Job Title : Remote Independent Prescriber Pharmacist - GP Surgery

Rate: �30 - �35 ph (paid via a LTD company)

Hunter AHP are seeking an experienced Independent Prescriber Pharmacist to join the team at a dynamic GP surgery on a remote, locum basis . This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly from home while contributing to patient care in a forward-thinking primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct remote consultations with patients via telephone or video.
* Review and prescribe medications in accordance with treatment plans and guidelines.
* Provide expert clinical advice and support to GPs and healthcare professionals.
* Manage repeat prescriptions and medication reviews.
* Support chronic disease management, including conditions such as hypertension, asthma, and diabetes.
* Contribute to improving medicines optimisation and patient safety.
* Update clinical records accurately in line with GP surgery protocols.
Essential Requirements:
* GPhC registered pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification.
* Previous experience working in a primary care setting (GP surgery experience desirable).
* Confidence in managing a wide range of medical conditions.
* Strong knowledge of clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne) or willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently with a high degree of professionalism.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
