Working Hours: 5 days per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 30 minute break
Start Date: November 2024
Rates: �17-22ph - depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ACT Pharmacy Technician to join our client's dynamic team at an NHS Hospital in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for community-experienced ACTs or newly registered ACTs looking to enhance their skills in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
* Manage inventory and stock control of pharmaceuticals.
* Participate in patient medication reviews and consultations.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
* Registered as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
