Join our NHS Hospital Client's Covid Medicines Delivery Unit (CMDU team) The team are at the forefront of providing vital pharmaceutical care and treatments for Covid-related conditions, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
Role Overview:
Hunter AHP are looking for an experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join the Hospital's CMDU team starting in November. You will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication management for high-risk Covid patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist clinical advice and guidance related to infectious diseases and Covid treatments.
* Conduct clinical assessments and manage patient medication regimens.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including infection consultants and nursing staff.
* Supervise junior pharmacists and support their professional development.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements:
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Relevant clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an acute hospital setting.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing service needs.
