Responsibilities and duties
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will:
* Lead piping work packages for UK nuclear projects, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications
* Drive the timely resolution of design issues and delivery schedules
* Oversee design changes, troubleshooting, and the 3D piping models
* Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning and process improvement
* Coordinate with various teams to maintain workflow and ensure design consistency
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
* Experience in piping engineering and plant design
* Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver projects
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and deadline-oriented
