Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a leading nuclear construction company to recruit a Project Manager on a long-term contract for its Hinkley Point C site.
Due to increased scope our client is recruiting for Project Manager to lead a team delivering various packages of work, including reinforced concrete structures and steelwork.
The Project Manager role comes with a day rate of �550 - �600 (inside IR35) with a contract duration of 6 months.
Key skills
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in consultation with key stakeholders.
* Oversee the construction phases, ensuring all works meet safety-critical standards.
* Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary design, ensuring alignment with project goals
* Manage client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met while adhering to safety and technical specifications.
* Ensure all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including designs, safety assessments, change orders, and site reports
Professional qualifications & skills
* Degree in Engineering (ideally civils), Project Management, or a related field
* 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within Civils, Heavy Industrial structures, reinforced concrete structures.
* Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex projects from design through to on-site installation.
* Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to safety-critical industries.
