Looking for a role that offers stability with no evenings or weekends? We are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic Finance team in Blythe Bridge!

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing around 1,500 purchase invoices each month. You will prepare and process weekly supplier payment runs, conduct supplier statement reconciliations, and resolve any queries that arise. Maintaining accurate supplier account details and processing staff expense claims while ensuring compliance with company policy are also key components of this exciting role. Additionally, you'll ensure that VAT is recorded correctly on all invoices and payments, assisting in month-end close procedures by providing accurate reports and reconciling the purchase ledger to the general ledger.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Requirements:

* Previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience is essential.
* High level of accuracy when processing invoices and payments.
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues and suppliers.
* Strong problem-solving skills and tenacity.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
* A strong work ethic and team spirit.
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
