This is a key position, based in London and reporting to the Workspace Manager, with specific responsibility for delivering our Barista function on site, and delivering exceptional service to the users of the building.This position will be responsible for implementing Workspace processes and procedures to ensure best practices are executed to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast paced organisation.This person will act as a Barista and provide exceptional service to customers on a daily basis. Additionally, there is a requirement to act as a Community Assistant in the space, delivering brilliant concierge, general housekeeping and cleanliness and innovation across the site.They will continually strive to improve the services across the business with the ambition to deliver world class services. We want to deliver a workspace that engages our internal customers allowing them to be more effective. The successful candidate will have a good of understanding of workplace trends both current and future, and experience managing a team through periods of change.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Process / ProceduresStakeholder and Key Stakeholder engagements in the location to ensure that the services provided are suitable, delivering what the business needs to operate.Implementation of facilities and workspace policies in line with the global workspace group, with the principle of simplification.Implement H&S procedures working with the Risk & Compliance team to deliver a healthy and safe working environment.Work with the Business Continuity team to ensure that we can effectively manage any event that may disrupt our core business activities.Ensure ethical business practices are in place for all workspace team members and suppliers.Development and implementation of workspace initiatives which promote a positive working environment and employee wellbeing.Support contractor and vendor relationships and coordinate/monitor Suppliers activitiesConduct and document regular workspace inspections including meeting room checks, and cleaning inspectionsDeliver Workspace Services, including reception, cleaning checks, general housekeeping and concierge servicesSupport local events from facilities and catering service deliverySupport the Workspace Manager to plan intra-office moves and allocate and manage space for maximum efficiencyAd-hoc office dutiesInnovation:Provide input for the development of improvement solutions Further develop operating standards, processes, and procedures for site Barista ServicesSupport the Workspace Manager to deliver innovation across the sites to enhance performance and grow the team’s knowledge.Operational Excellence:Support as required during site audits and inspections internally and from the wider business / externallyContinually communicate high priority tasks issues to end users using the appropriate communication channelAssist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment.People:Culture carrier and promotes best practice, leading the team by example and actionBeing an inspirational worker, willing to go the extra mile and providing support to the team at all timesChallenging process and performance of the team, always seeking to improve servicesWorking closely with wider CRE functions including Risk & Compliance and Physical SecuritySuccess MeasuresAchievement of site KPIs in line with business requirementsGood working relationships with the wider CRE TeamsExcellent Stakeholder feedbackStrong team ethos and performance Achievement of business and CRE / Workspace Goals and TargetsContinuous improvement and innovationRegular positive site reportingJob Reference: com/1610/98871001/52687365/BUCompass Group UK&I is committed to fostering an environment where every individual can truly be themselves at work and has equal opportunities to advance in their careers.
