We\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Junior Buyer to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Foodbuy on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.As a Junior Buyer, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Here\'s what you need to know before applying:As Junior Buyer you will also be responsible for:Day-to-Day liaising with the wider category team to support clients and suppliers Pulling data from various data points and collating into a readable format.Contract and price change administration to include loading documents onto our e-platform. Coordination of client communication and product sampling session. Preparation of meeting agendas, content creation and capturing team actions. Manage ad-hoc projects and follow-up with team members as required.Maintain a strong working relationship with other relevant teams, including CET, Business Pricing, CID and IT.First line response for category to chase invoices from suppliers.The successful Junior Buyer will have:Business administration support experienceExperience in a procurement or supply chain environment is beneficialStrong IT skills and an ability to learn systems quicklyStrong organisational and time management skillsTeam a orientated and flexible approachConfidence and demonstrate a “Can Do” attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)High standard of literacy skills, attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated & willing to use initiativeComfortable working in a fast paced and deadline driven environment Able to multi-taskAdvanced Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint Part of Compass Group UK&I, Foodbuy is a leading food procurement organisation based in the UK.
