You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you, you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions.Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:You will be working with challenging prisoners who may at times present with problematic behaviour.Train the prisoners to a recognized qualification in barbering so you will be in close contact with prisoners.You will be accountable of the equipment and tools in the salon and the safe use of them.You will be in change or managing a diary for Prisoner appointments.Develop a salon style training environment.Must have great communication skills.Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safeguarding of prisoners including health and safety and the local security strategy.Proven experience in barberingExperience of working as a barberUnderstanding of current legislation and health and safety issues within the Hair & beauty trade salon.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a controlled environment and remain calm under pressure.To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid barbering or hairdressing qualification.A valid barbering instructor qualification is required for this position or experience as a trainer.What we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
