As the Senior Web Trading and Merchandising Manager for DFS you will be responsible for the sales performance and the merchandising of products across the DFS website. You will lead the launch process, set web merchandising standards and drive trading performance across sales, conversion, margin and AOV metrics. You will do this by leading and developing your team, building new processes and relationships. Strong analytical and commercial skills are essential in this role.


This is a hybrid opportunity, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

What you'll be doing
Drive Sales Performance: Lead initiatives to enhance sales across DFS.CO.UK and DFS.IE.
Tactical Trading Management: Utilise analytics to evaluate product performance, prioritising top-converting items while balancing online and in-store sales.
Performance Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve reasons for poor product performance, implementing solutions with relevant stakeholders.
Cross-Sell and Upsell Strategy: Develop plans to boost Average Order Value (AOV) and Items Per Order (IPO) across all web channels.
Performance Reporting: Deliver insights on trading trends and opportunities using analytical tools like GA4, Power BI, and Content Square.
Campaign Management: Oversee promotional and new product launches, ensuring proper setup of imagery, pricing, and campaign timelines.
Customer Journey:

A/B Testing Management: Manage the A/B testing plan and identify customer journey enhancement opportunities.
Conversion Rate Optimisation: Implement strategies to improve conversion rates throughout the customer experience.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct weekly reviews of competitors, providing actionable insights.


Relationship Building:

Collaborate with Digital Marketing: Ensure alignment on email campaigns, landing pages, and SEO opportunities.
Coordinate with Buying and Merchandising: Keep these teams informed about new product launches and campaigns.
Align with Online Team: Share IT roadmap ideas and synchronise on trading plans.
Team Leadership: Oversee the Web Trade and Merch Manager, Online Product Manager, and Web Operations and Optimization Manager.
