As a Plating Technician, you will be at the heart of our electroplating process, responsible for operating and maintaining our electroplating equipment. Your expertise will ensure that metal components receive the highest quality finishes, adhering to strict specifications every step of the way. You'll monitor and report on chemical process parameters, conduct quality control inspections, and maintain comprehensive records to guarantee the consistency and quality of our products. Collaborating with colleagues and external suppliers, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the standards of safety and environmental compliance across the board.
Hours of Work: Full-time position with flexibility needed for holiday cover and occasional Saturday mornings.
Plating Technician Requirements:
* Experience in electroplating (preferred) or a strong willingness to learn.
* A solid understanding of electroplating principles and bath chemistry (preferred).
* Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
