We are currently looking for a Cash Management Assistant to join our high-performing team, working on a hybrid basis 2 days per week in the Solihull office.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs part of the finance team, the successful candidate will provide a day to day support to the cash and treasury team, working with teams across wider finance in all areas relating to banking transactions.

Other responsibilities will include:


Accounting process responsibility and ownership of the ledger books and reconciliations for costs and revenues associated with cashiering tasks.
Reconciling a high volume of bank transactions and ensuring accurate and timely allocation through bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations
Compliance with the timetable, KPIs and accounting standards.
Providing input to continuous improvement within the department
Ownership of the Cashiers processes.


Key role in liaison with external auditors and being a business partner with the operational finance teams.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Cash Management Assistant, will be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Cashier, Cash Allocation Administrator or similar gained within a fast-paced Financial Shared Services environment. 


Knowledge and use of bank reconciliation tools
Posting and matching of cash transactions
Experience of dealing with Banks
Experience of using SAP would be advantageous
AAT qualified, or willing to study
Knowledge of accounting processes
Knowledge of process re-engineering
Effective communication skills with people at all levels of the business
Decisive under pressure considering the criticality and urgency of decisions
Good analytical skills to identify root causes of issues
