Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Asset Reliability Engineer to join our established team working with our prestigious clients based in Macclesfield. This is an important role with oversight from the Technical Operations Manager. The role is focused on providing asset responsibilities as necessary over the range of engineering & quality activities where Sodexo have responsibility on the Macclesfield Campus.Joining our team at their large pharmaceutical & biotechnology site, you will take an active role in the management of engineering related services within your specific business function. You will be responsible for the development and deployment of techniques and tools to increase asset availability and will also manage all aspects of technical delivery and asset lifecycle management in complex engineering environments.This will include managing;• Asset Reliability and Lifecycle Management• Deviation Management•Change Control Management• Audit Preparedness•Technical & Quality Documentation.The Asset Reliability Engineer will develop and manage operational improvements to the technical services delivery and track benefits and participate in the site energy network and drive initiatives to minimise building and asset energy consumption whilst working with support functions to develop and deploy technologies and tools to modernise our service.Utilising problem-solving techniques to investigate root-causes, analyse and implement corrective action & preventative actions, you will produce technical reports with the ability to provide simplicity to complex engineering issues whilst completing technical/quality assessments to understand the impact of change activities and commissioning checks to ensure the standard of change meets expectation.You will be accountable for Operational availability of critical plant equipment/systems, audit ready technical & quality documentation and using data to drive continuous improvement.About YouExperience and knowledge requirement for this role:Application of engineering knowledgeProblem solving & analytical mindsetKnowledge of QSHETechnical document authoringImprovement and innovationUnderstanding of LEAN principlesWhat we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
