Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Facilities Engineers to join our established team working with our prestigious clients based in Macclesfield.Joining our team at their large pharmaceutical & biotechnology site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functionality and availability of plant facilities while maintaining compliance with Good Practice (GXP) and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations. This position involves supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of maintenance strategies for assets, utilising current best practices, tools, and techniques.The Facilities Engineer will collaborate closely with Duty Holders to uphold and enforce engineering compliance, delegating responsibilities as necessary whilst leading and maintaining compliance with all Engineering SOPs/SHEP, ensuring all activities are carried out by authorised personnel with appropriate training.You will help support the delivery of asset criticality studies and assist with implementing program of works in line with the findings from the criticality assessments and contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of the maintenance strategy for assets.About YouExperience and knowledge requirement for this role:Background in the pharmaceutical or GMP industry is highly desiredProven experience in engineering with a focus on optimisation and innovationDemonstrates a sound understanding of engineering within IFM services, and how it contributes directly to the business objectivesUnderstanding and experience of managing a commercial contract agreement.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and take initiativeDemonstrated ability to contribute to the development and execution of long-term technical plans.Innovative mindset with a passion for driving positive changeExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong organisational and project management skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to see the big pictureProactive and results-drivenQualifications required:MIET, Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or equivalent technical experiencehighly preferable.What we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
