Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Training Company to recruit a Power Plant Trainer to work at power stations across the UK and based out of East Midlands.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Training Delivery Director you will be responsible for:
* Travelling to Power Stations across the UK, and occasionally abroad, to delivery a wide range of training for the teams on site.
* Performing trainings at the on-site facilities in Kegworth
* Training sessions will include, but are not limited to, Power Plant Operations (Coal, CCGT, Energy from Waste and Biomass), High Voltage Safety and Energy Recovery.
* Ensuring all activities related to the training are on time and completed to the required standard
* Supporting the Training Delivery Director in further developing the training methods, guidelines and learning content
* Delivering lessons learned and feedback for current and future projects
* Presenting yourself in a professional and appropriate manner as the on-site representative for the company
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally a qualification (HNC/ONC) in a relevant Engineering discipline
* Experience working on Power Stations, preferably in an Operations role
* Any experience as a trainer/teacher is advantageous but not essential
* A willingness to travel within the UK as required.
