Responsibilities and duties
Working as the Energy Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring the reliable delivery of heat, chill and power to customers
* Leading and managing a team of engineers
* Providing HSE leadership
* Managing the financial delivery of the site
* Developing maintenance & operational strategies in line with the wider business
* Managing maintenance contracts
* Identify and analyse plant issues to improve plant reliability & availability
* Managing and monitoring contractor performance
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally qualified with an ONC / HNC / HND in a relevant engineering field
* IOSH or equivalent is a must
* At least five years’ experience in a similar role from a similar industry such as CHP, Energy from Waste, Biomass etc
* Experience in commercial contract management
* Set & deliver strategic decisions
* Authorised Engineer status
