Be it food entrepreneurs or team members, our mission is to create opportunity and joy through great food, from the KERB up.More about the role:2023 saw substantial growth for the KERB Group and we’re now on the search for an incredible Operations Manager to join the existing partnerships team and join us on our journey of continued growth in 2024.As our Operations Manager, you will be integral to the day to day running of KERB Events and the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, live events, many of which involve bar operations and production at sites such as: Aston Villa Football Club, Leicester Tigers, Wolverhampton plus some more exciting venues coming onboard.You will also account manage key partnership contacts and venue clients. So if you’re looking for your next challenge within a business that genuinely cares about brilliant food, best-in-class events and exceptional hospitality, apply today!End-to-end planning of large events to include briefing and liaising with traders, site visits, on-site planning and logistics, staffing and accreditation, access planning and event specific administrationOn-site management of food and bar service as well as venue, partner and client management at eventsWorking closely with the bars team to plan and deliver bars across live eventsAccount management of key partners and venue clients; acting as the main point of contact for the venue teams both pre-event and on-siteManagement of event-specific budgets, ensuring that all events are hitting target GPsRegular reviews of operational opportunities at each of our Stadiums.Working closely with our Compass partners to expand KERB’s offer where appropriate and proactively seeking the next opportunityBuilding close relationships with our street food traders and independent businesses to build, retain and grow the communityIdentify and cultivate new traders and food businesses when required who would fit the KERB ethosUnderstand, analyse and monitor food and trader performanceUnderstand the importance of health and safety and following KERB processesUnderstanding and knowledge of delivering efficient and effective events.Travelling to our venues across the Midlands and working weekends to manage our venueAbout you:Strong background in event and/or project management, ideally with a focus on live events focusing on food and drinkBar management experienceGood commercial awarenessGreat communication skillsA proactive self-starter, with the ability to manage projects from start to finishExperience working with varied stakeholdersAn understanding of food and drink operationsTech savvy and quick to learn new technologiesExperience of EPOS systems – if you’ve used Good Till, even better!An strong interest and knowledge in the independent food and drink industryExcellent people skills, with the ability to talk to clients and traders in a consultative manner and developing long-term relationshipsA full and clean drivers license  Willingness to travel and work weekends when requiredA love of brilliant food and drinkDesirableExperience with/a solid understanding of working with independent food tradersPrevious experience in line managementWe believe in building a community that revolves around brilliant food.
