A leading national logistics and transport organisation is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team on a large single sort operation in Liverpool. This is a unique opportunity to join a world renowned brand, be exposed to diverse high-risk profile and learn from experienced Health & Safety professionals.
The HSE Advisor will be responsible for:
* Working closely the Health & Safety Manager and other members of the safety and environment team to implement a best in class safety culture across their large single site.
* Maintenance and improvement of the health & safety management systems.
* The opportunity to get involved in safety projects related to implementation of automation technology.
* Engaging with principal contractors for new build projects on site.
The Health & Safety Advisor will have:
* Knowledge of the requirements of 45001 and/ or 14001 Health & Safety Management systems
* Experience in a high risk environment - construction, distribution/ logistics/ transport, manufacturing, oil & gas.
* Adaptable, consultative approach to safety. Willingness to proactive engagement site teams.
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
