About the Role:
Are you passionate about fostering a strong safety culture and implementing practical safety solutions? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting over 100 site locations across the Netherlands, working directly with on-site teams to promote common-sense safety policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit and assess over 100 site locations across the Netherlands to identify and address safety concerns.
Develop and implement practical safety solutions that go beyond regulatory compliance to foster a strong safety culture.
Work closely with on-site personnel to promote common-sense safety practices and policies.
Operate independently of existing HSEQ teams, reporting directly to the Country Director.
Create and manage your own full-time schedule to ensure efficient site visits and follow-ups.
Build and maintain strong relationships with site teams, promoting open communication and collaboration on safety initiatives.
Attend training sessions in the U.K. as required to stay updated on best practices and innovations in the field.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Pragmatic approach to safety, with a focus on practical solutions and common-sense policies.
Strong passion for safety culture and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Flexibility to travel extensively across the Netherlands and occasionally to the U.K. for training.
Must possess a vehicle suitable for regular travel and applicable driver's license.
