We are looking for Young Engagement Facilitators to join our fantastic team!

You will be based at one of our locality hubs:


High Post, Salisbury
Greenways, Chippenham
Derby Court, Trowbridge.


Details of you based will be agreed with your manager.

As a Young Engagement Facilitator you will provide support to the Equality and Engagement Leads working in the School Aged Immunisation service in building relationships and networks with children, young people, families, and communities that helps increase access to services and identify barriers to the uptake of Immunisations.

Alongside this, you will help develop information and resources about the programme to encourage the uptake of immunisations.

You will attend Immunisation sessions to gather feedback from service users and key partners to ensure their views are considered within the development, design, and delivery of the School Age Immunisations service.

Main Responsibilities

As a Young Engagement Facilitator you will:

 

Understand the national School Aged Immunisation Programme across B&NES, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW)
Support the Equality and Engagement Leads in identifying local communities who are underserved and barriers to receiving Immunisations

Support the delivery of coproduction events and sharing learning

Collect feedback from service users about their experience of using services
Support to collate service user feedback and to develop response plans
Support in increasing the participation of children and young people in how the service is designed and delivered
Support the development of new culturally sensitive, accessible resources and information to help reduce
Attend sessions and to actively engage parents in the completion of the consent process to accept or decline vaccination
Follow guidelines/protocols and to work with clinical colleagues to ensure service users are supported the service in a timely way
