We are looking for new members to join our highly skilled Healthcare Security team, to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and Healthcare staff.You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the Apprenticeship!On completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve the Security Level 2 and become a qualified Security Officer.Candidates must be aged 18+ plus and need to have an SIA Licence prior to starting with us along with a DBS and Occupational Health Clearance .Candidates will also need to complete Patient Restraint Training during the Apprenticeship.Daily Duties:Your primary duty is to ensure the safety and security of all persons and properties at South Bristol Community Hospital and to promote a safe environment and reduce the fear of crime by providing a high-profile visible presence.To manage the duties and conduct of a Security Officer and CCTV Operator during their shift (which may include car parking related activities). This includes a responsibility for the recording the Officer’s time & attendance, their appearance and equipment. Ensure that Security Officers are allocated duties that they are trained and licensed to undertake and that they act in a professional manner and in accordance with the Company’s values and behaviors.Escalate work-related issues to the Operations Manager.
