Fire & Security Engineer

Our client is a well-established design and build company, specialising in fit out, refurbishment, furniture, moves, and maintenance.
The Role:
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, security systems, and related equipment
Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot security systems such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intruder alarms.
- Conduct site surveys to evaluate fire and security installation needs, identifying risks, and recommending solutions.
- Work with project managers and engineers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Provide clients with technical support and training on fire and security system operations and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of installation activities including equipment inventory and work performed.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Fire & Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Skilled in installing and configuring fire alarm systems, security systems, and related equipment.
- Understanding of UK regulations and standards such as BS 5839 and BS 7671.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Relevant industry certifications.
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications would be preferred.
- Valid UK driving license.
