Obelisk House provides exceptional levels of support in residential and Dementia care.

What will you be doing?As a shift leader, your responsibilities will include:


Act as a key worker for designated customers. Ensuring they are supported in all aspects of their life.
Monitoring and administering medication, personal care and as directed by their individual care plan, help maintain health and wellbeing.
Prioritise and direct the workload of team members accordingly, ensuring any issues are dealt with as they arise.
Ensure all administration tasks are carried out with accuracy. Inputting additional information onto care plans, as required.
Liaising with health care professionals.


37 hours per week 

Shifts are between 07.30-15.00 and 14.00-21.30 and include alternate weekends.
About youYou may be a senior carer looking for the next move or a current Shift lead wishing to gain more experience to develop yourself in the future. 

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal), you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, there's no pressure to "hit the ground running"!

A DBS check will take place, at WNC cost.
