As a Transport Coordinator, you will ensure all routing is efficiently completed within designated timeframes, ensuring timely deliveries to our customers and the replenishment of our trade stores with a 99% accuracy rate. You'll manage a delivery roster that optimises opportunities for truck drivers while maintaining punctuality and resource efficiency. Additionally, you'll follow up on any late deliveries or customer backorders until they are resolved and offer support to the warehouse team and Transport Manager as needed. You will also be committed to continuous improvement initiatives, refining processes and procedures in alignment with our growth plans and adopting modern techniques where appropriate.
Hours of Work: Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate the demands of the role.
Transport Coordinator Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year's experience with routing software
* Knowledge of Descartes Routing software preferable
* Effective communication and people skills
* Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Driver CPC desirable
