Group Sustainability Manager

�55,000 basic salary + benefits
We are currently working with a leading UK nationwide integrated waste management business providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically-driven energy generation services. They Group Sustainability Manager will have a central influence on how the organisation delivers its mission to change how society thinks about waste and to recognise its value in a transition to a circular economy.
The Group Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:
* Evolve, promote and support delivery of Group sustainability strategy
* Collate, interpret and present the sustainability data for the Group.
* Develop and produce enhanced carbon foot printing analysis for Group and key customers, along with lifecycle analysis of waste collection, processing and disposal techniques.
* Research and implement environmental and sustainability innovations to provide the business with a commercial advantage and reduce or minimise its environmental impact.
* Provide general provision of professional advice and support across the business in relation to policy and sustainability.
The Group Sustainability Manager will have:
* Degree or equivalent in environmental or relevant scientific or sustainability subject
* Highly proficient in all Microsoft Applications including advanced Excel
* Proven ability to analyse large volumes of data to produce accurate and succinct reports.
* Extensive hands-on experience in an Environmental or Sustainability role
* Good Project Management skills
