They play a key role in delivering an emergency response service to the most vulnerable residents in our community - 24 hours a day, 7 day a week, 365 days per year. Giving peace of mind to service users and to their families, you will join a small but passionate team providing an essential service to our sheltered housing and community alarm clients in the borough of Welwyn Hatfield. You will be the first response in emergencies, reacting quickly to calls and providing advice and guidance, as well as making the necessary calls to the required services and family members. You will need to maintain comprehensive records ensuring all appropriate agencies have up to date information. Above all else, it will be up to you to promote and secure the independence, dignity, security, privacy and wellbeing of all residents that you interact with. This is an active, responsive role and you will need to prioritise your workload and be able to make clear decisions sometimes in difficult circumstances.We are looking for someone who is calm and empathetic and who can respond positively and proactively to sometimes challenging situations.
