Class 2 HGV Driver Duties:
As the forefront ambassador of Meyer Timber, you'll take pride in ensuring the secure and punctual delivery of our esteemed timber products throughout the vibrant landscape of the London Area, all while delivering exceptional customer service with a smile. Your journey begins with early starts ranging between 5:00 am to 6:00 am for multi-drop routes, where you'll embark on each day's adventure. Rigorous daily vehicle checks and diligent defect reporting will ensure the safety and reliability of our transportation fleet. Expertly mastering the art of curtain pulling and securing loads, alongside manual handling tasks, you'll uphold our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the delivery process. Meticulously checking paperwork on products and engaging with customers along the way, you'll forge lasting relationships built on trust and professionalism. Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:
2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
Fully CPC qualified
Must be physically active due to manual handling
Multi drop experience would be advantageous but not essential
