Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to take on a new challenge?

We are now looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join our team at Viridor House in Taunton, 22.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday. This could be flexible for the successful candidate.

What will you be doing?

As a Credit Controller, you will be proactively chasing collection targets and assisting customers when making credit card payments. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the allocated customer accounts, whilst consistently delivering a professional service to customers.

A key skill for this role is the ability to communicate efficiently with internal and external customers on a daily basis and resolve all queries in a prompt and timely manner. The ideal Credit Controller will be capable of taking full ownership of accounts and proactively manage the allocated customers.

Additionally, the Credit Controller will be responsible for chasing debt and interacting with customers on a 1-2-1 basis.

What do you need?

- Knowledge of how credit control works within an organisation.
- Experience of working in a Credit Control Team.
- Positive attitude with a cheerful demeanour.
- Strong communication skills.
- A good level of IT literacy and experience of Microsoft Office.
- Take a proactive and accountable approach to their work, identifying problems and solutions as appropriate.
- A good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Discretion and the ability to work with confidential information.
- Resilience and the ability to deal with challenging situations and trying to achieve positive outcomes for all.
