To achieve our targets our Solutions team will work efficiently and build on adopting a seamless collaborative approach with our client Anglian Water during the initial optioneering stage of a project to reach an agreed solution. To help us deliver this we’re seeking a Senior Solutions Manager for our Water Recycling (West) Team.
What you will be doing as our new Senior Solutions Manager?
As our new Senior Solutions Manager, you will provide leadership for the creation of value-driven solutions for a c£600M portfolio of water recycling projects located in the west of the Anglian region, which achieve our capital investment programme outcomes and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Understand Anglian Water’s and @one alliance’s business goals.
Develop and manage collaborative relationships with Anglian Water’s ADP and @one delivery teams.
Support ADP in developing a sustainable project release program.
Develop an efficient solutions development strategy.
Manage Solutions Stage Project Plans and ensure @one Solutions Stage deliverables meet required standards.
Produce monthly performance reports.
Engage stakeholders to resolve issues and remove blockers.
Lead escalation if preferred solutions do not meet objectives.
Develop Solutions:
Understand and challenge Anglian Water’s business outcomes and obligations for each scheme.
Facilitate root cause analysis, investigations, and data analysis.
Lead engagement from @one project delivery teams to develop viable solutions, considering:
Cost assessments
Data analysis and technical solutions
Programme review
Sustainability and carbon reduction
Safety and buildability
HRA, EIA, planning, and customer constraints
Long-lead items and supplier inputs
Legacy and compliance risk
Ensure TOTEX, Benefits Realisation, and Six Capitals are considered in solution selection.
Support assessment of preferred solutions for review meetings.
Health & Safety
Promote Health and Safety excellence in solution development.
Support the Design Manager in producing design risk assessments.
People/Team Development
Provide clear and consistent leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Line manages, mentors and supports Solutions Team members.
Transformation
Promote experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Identify ways to reduce carbon and enhance natural capital using PAS 2080 principles.
Continuously improve the solutions process and team efficiency.

To be successful in this position you will be comfortable demonstrating leadership in managing people, including successful performance management. You will champion consistent quality and standardisation, develop quality procedures, and deliver improvements. You are experienced in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and realise opportunities across multiple projects.
You can demonstrate a respectful attitude to others, and naturally foster positive action to build our reputation and integrity. You are adept at facing challenges addressing poor collaboration and promoting effective communication with all stakeholders. Preferably degree educated with demonstrable experience in water-sector assets and delivery capital projects.
